Hello, I'm Dr. Cynthia Ganote (she/her).
Dr. Cynthia Ganote is an educator, coach, workshop facilitator, consultant, and speaker. She specializes in catalyzing transformative change in individuals & organizations through the power of hope. In addition, creating spaces where every person can belong is her superpower! Cynthia brings to this work 25 years of experience in teaching at the university level. Over her career, Cynthia has been a tenured sociology professor, a Director of Faculty Development leading professional development initiatives for educators, and an Assistant Dean for Community Engagement, before becoming a national consultant for organizations across the country. Cynthia’s most recent writing can be found in the book Unraveling Faculty Burnout: Pathways to Reckoning and Renewal (Rebecca Pope-Ruark, Editor, 2022), the book Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education: Strategies for Teaching (Rita Kumar and Brenda Refaei, Editors, 2021), and in the SAGE Encyclopedia of Leadership Studies (George Goethals and Scott Allison, Editors, 2023).
